When adding a new line in the middle of the text prompt by using Shift + Enter (Return) the new line jumpers from middle of the text prompt to the end of the text prompt.

For example

bla bla bla

Shift + Enter

bla bla bla

new lines end up here ←—

Make sure Enter to Send is enabled to replicate this issue.
