Edit for conversation request/responses

For all bubbles (request, responses) it would be nice to add an "Edit" button, which will allow editing the content of a request (your text) or response (response text from OpenAI API).
This would allow restarting the same conversation into another direction much easier (instead of copy, delete, paste and edit before requesting) and to manipulate also the context this way (if response messages are editable, too).

Suggestions for the edit-form:
- Auto-Focus text-area when edit-form opens. (So user can start navigate without tabbing into it multiple times or using mouse)
- App-Setting or Edit-Option: To disable preview
- App-Setting or Edit-Option: To toggle between horizontal split (for edit and preview part of the form)
- Add keyboard-combination for (mine are just examples):
* CMD+ENTER (Save only)
* CMD+SHIFT+ENTER (Save and regenerate)
* CMD+C (Copy) <- (only if not in text-field/area)
* CMD+E (or with CMT+SHIFT+E for edit external)
* ESC (close edit form)
About shortcuts of point 4, no global shortcuts should be toggled inside this form (so that they don't conflict or getting toggled) and I would recommend to add a select default external editor in the app-settings so that the shortcut in point 4 would work without a selection.
Oh and when the inline-editor getting introduced
: In the app-settings there should be also a drop down and shortcut to determine which kind of edit-mode a user wants to enter when hitting a shortcut or the button with or without SHIFT+Key as modifier to differentiate between these two.Me for example would use the inline editor much more often, because such a thing would be quicker, but sometimes access the edit-form then by holding shift when hitting the edit-button.

MindMac: Thank you, just one question. Does it also have an Inline-mode or something like that? (Link expired)
MindMac
Sascha: Currently, MindMac allows message editing in new window with more call to action buttons. I will find the way to support inline editing too.
